All the Songs In the Premiere – Billboard Entertainment News Mummy Music

    Entertainment News Mummy Music –

Season four of Atlanta is as eccentric as we’ve come to expect from the hit Donald Glover series. Following the two-episode premiere last Thursday (Sept. 15), this week’s episode, titled “Born to Die,” sees Earn chasing D’Angelo (yes, the R&B singer) and Paper Boi chasing a Grammy, each going through extremes and having their patience tested while doing so.

While only three songs are heard in Episode 3, Megan thee Stallion‘s “Money Good” and Kodak Black‘s “Let Me Know” are used for the opening and closing credits respectively, and lyrically go hand-in-hand with the chain of events depicted in the episode. In another scene, Al Green‘s “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart” is heard in the background during a pivotal moment in Earn’s quest to track down D’Angelo.

As Atlanta has evolved, music synchs have played a big role in the overall scene-setting of the show. Throughout the seasons, music supervisors Jen Malone and Fam Udeorji have chosen a variety of songs by old and new artists from various genres including OutKast, D4L, Gunna, Troye Sivan, Dua Lipa, Kodak Black, Jennifer Lopez and many more.

Atlanta airs on FX Thursday nights at 10 p.m. and is available to watch on Hulu the following day. Check out all of the songs used in season four so far below.
