Crystal Kung Minkoff her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmates’ recent comments.

“I felt embarrassed. Like suddenly the show didn’t exist, and I just felt embarrassed,” she told the outlet. “There’s a feeling of embarrassment being on the show, the idea of being filmed. And then, you know, I got made fun of, as a child, for being chubby. That’s how it felt.”
In a recent episode of the show, Erika Jayne reacted to Crystal sharing details about her eating disorder by suggesting she take laxatives. Later in the night, Erika also told Crystal not to eat a chicken tender that was being offered to her at the party.
“It was very uncomfortable for me,” Crystal said of her interaction with Erika. “Because when she mentioned the laxative, I actually explained that my best friend suffered from that. And I’d discovered that later and she didn’t know it was an eating disorder. She had always known about mine… And then I found out she was doing that. And I was like, you know that’s a problem. So I explained that story.”
She added that some of the questions her castmates had asked her were extremely triggering to her. In a separate episode, Kyle Richards had asked whether she binged and “threw up,” explaining that she felt it was justified for her to ask since she’d had her own experience with an eating disorder.
“I said to them, this is starting to feel a little too graphic for me,” Crystal said, noting that her response hadn’t been included in the episode.
Erika Jayne clarified some of the comments she made in a recent interview. Find out what she said here.
