If we talk about a timeless style formula, you can never go wrong with a Little Black Dress—not even during summertime. Emma Chamberlain proved this statement true, stepping out at Louis Vuitton’s “200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries: The Exhibition” in an eternally-chic LBD.
Hinting at ‘60s mod fashion, the internet star and entrepreneur attended the exhibition’s opening at its arrival in Los Angeles on July 29. Chamberlain sported a Louis Vuitton A-line mini dress with patched pockets at the front and rhinestone embroideries around the neckline. Chamberlain gave the look a modern spin complementing with black pump platforms and a Petite Maille clutch. As far as accessories and makeup go, Emma kept things simple by wearing hoop earrings, a few rings, and a tinge of red eyeshadow on the lids.
About her outfit choice, the social media personality told WWD, “I had two outfit options that I was choosing between. One of them was more casual, and I was like, ‘You know what? I wear casual all the time. I want to do a little cocktail dress feeling’ I don’t do this very often in my day-to-day life and wanted to wear something I wouldn’t normally wear.”
Chamberlain, who has been conquering one fashion feat after another, is a regular guest at the French brand’s fashion shows and events. In addition to her attendance at their most recent exhibition — celebrating its founder’s 200th birthday — Chamberlain was outfitted by Louis Vuitton for the 2022 Met Gala.
Similarly, this isn’t the first time the Internet sensation turns to full black looks this summer. During her stay in Spain for Cartier’s Beautés du Monde event last June, Chamberlain took to Instagram to share a Y2K-inspired outfit consisting of a corset, mini skirt, knee socks, and platform shoes. Whoever said you shouldn’t wear black in the summer, clearly hasn’t taken a look at Emma Chamberlain’s Instagram feed.
